Is it possible to have listen power?

We have talk power, but is it possible to have only certain users with certain privileges to listen in a certain channel?

Edit in Channel Rights the
i_channel_needed_join_power to maybe 50
and then create a Server Group and grant them
i_channel_join_power 50
so only the Server Group can join to this channel

I dont think that's an answer what he's asking. He said listen to the channel NOT join it.

A way to listen in on a channel as an admin without other's aware of it is what I'm percieving, which would be a nice feature to have anyhow.

I understood him like this:
X joins the Server
X joins channel "I don't want you to listen"
X can't listen due to permission issues

so, since this is afaik not possible, i told this way

Ok but based on your suggestion, X wouldn't even be able to join that channel because he doesn't have permission to, no?

What about just the ability to listen to other channels without joining them (sorry if that's not the same thing)?

Here is my answer to this thread.
There is no listen power and this won't be implemented. We discussed in an early alpha version about that permission.
And you only will be able to listen to the current channel.
