I can't be positive since I have not tried this but you don't need a 2nd IP if both servers are running on the same machine. Using different ports should be all you need to do to connect to server 1 or server 2 with the same IP

Review the server query manual to find how to set a port other than default. I am at work and don't have access to the manual to tell you the specifics.

Also take a look in the server_quickstart.txt

    Hello,

I don't think that this is possible because otherwise you would be able to circumvent the limitation set upon the number of servers by the developers.

    How so?

Let's assume he runs 2 servers without NPLs. No harm, no foul. Now lets assume he runs 1 server with an NPL and 1 without. Still no harm, no foul. He should not have more than 1 NPL as they only issue 1 NPL per organization.

NPL = up to 10 virtual servers with 512 clients between all servers
w/out NPL = 1 virtual server with up to 32 clients

    Hello,

in the "license.txt" file in the installation directory of the TeamSpeak 3 Server I have found the following text:

    Under "5.1. Non-Profit License: Unregistered":

"b. The individual or organization may host up to 32 slots using only 1 Virtual Server for their entire operation. Exceeding the use of 32 slots or 1 Virtual Server over multiple physical machines operated by the same individual or organization is strictly prohibited."

    Under: "5.2. Non-Profit License: Registered":

"c. The individual or organization may host up to 512 slots using a maximum of 10 Virtual Servers for their entire operation. Any combination of slots or Virtual Servers over multiple physical machines is allowed, as long as the individual or organization does not exceed 512 slots or 10 Virtual Servers..."

Each server instance creates a "virtual" server, so running more than ONE server on a free license is forbidden. That would create 2 virtual servers.

You can create on an NPL any combination of virtual servers not exceeding 10.
