    Lightbulb How to Change the Font Sizes in Any Style

    I have been playing around with the QSS style sheets and found out that it is pretty easy to change the font sizes within TS3.

    These two lines added to any Main Section will change the font sizes.

    Code:

    font-size: 16px;
    font-family: Arial, ArialBold, sans-serif;
    Now you can use any font-family you want as long as it is installed on your computer.

    For Example: I want to change the font size in Blue Sky Style.

    Old code in bluesky.qss:

    Code:
    QMainWindow, QWidget, QDialog, TextBrowser, QAbstractItemView, QTextEdit {
     background: qlineargradient(x1: 0, y1: 0, x2: 0, y2: 1, stop: 0 #c2d7e1, stop:1 #eef5f9);
     color:#000;
    }
    New Code to replace the old code:

    Code:

    QMainWindow, QWidget, QDialog, TextBrowser, QAbstractItemView, QTextEdit {
     font-size: 16px;
     font-family: Arial, ArialBold, sans-serif;
     background: qlineargradient(x1: 0, y1: 0, x2: 0, y2: 1, stop: 0 #c2d7e1, stop:1 #eef5f9);
     color:#000;
    }
    Now one thing you will notice is that if you make the Font Size too big, the characters on the Tree view, where your channels are listed, will overlap the next line down. (See Attachments). So you have to change the line size.

    Code:

    QTreeView::item {
     height: 18px;
     border: 0px;
    }
    Always make the height at least 2 pixels greater than the font size and you should be fine.

    PLEASE NOTE: If you make the font size too big, then the fonts in your Dialogs like Options, will be too big to read in the window.

    You can change the Font Size in any sub-heading that you want. If you change the Font Size in a Main Heading like the one listed above, then all sub-headings will have that same font size.

    Example: In the above changes, it would change the font size throughout the whole style and I only want to change the QTreeView font size for people that are on the server and the channels. I would go about it like this.

    Old code:

    Code:
    QTreeView {
     alternate-background-color: #d4eefb;
     show-decoration-selected: 1;
     border: 1px solid transparent;
     border-radius: 3px;
    }
    New Code to replace Old Code:

    Code:

    QTreeView {
     font-size: 16px;
     font-family: Arial, ArialBold, sans-serif;
     alternate-background-color: #d4eefb;
     show-decoration-selected: 1;
     border: 1px solid transparent;
     border-radius: 3px;
    }
    Remember, you have to change the line height too or the channel names and people online will overlap each other.

    Have fun with fonts and always make a backup of your QSS file before changing, that way if you make a mistake and it doesn't work out, you can revert back to the old file.

    P.S. You have to change the Theme to something else and then back to the Theme that you changed in order for the changes to take effect.
