    I'm use command:
    Code:

    Thanks.

    Hello

You have to use the server ID where the client is.
(use 0 is for template modification)

If you don't know the serverID, use the query command "serverlist".
You'll get the entire information (serverID - serverPport / etc, etc)

Hi. So how do I actually "use" the server ID in this case?

you can just do "use port=VOICE_PORT"

however running the original command specified or in general adding regular clients to query groups is not supported, highly dangerous and not needed for anything. You cannot do anything more with the TeamSpeak client than what the default server admin group permissions allow you to. As such doing what this topic discusses is entirely unsupported, unnecessary and potentially volatile to the server and your setup.

    Error 1024 on custom server

    Hello,
We are running a teamspeak server on a Linux server(Ubuntu 18.04). It is the only server loaded on that particular server. I am trying to run the following command:
    Code:
    servergroupaddperm sgid=6 permsid=i_client_talk_power permvalue=75 permnegated=0 permskip=0
    It gives this error:
    Code:
    error id=1024 msg=invalid\sserverID
Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong or is there something I need to fix.

You need to select the server first with the use command.
Type help use for details and how to.
