    Hi,

my question is if the Teamspeak 3-Server uses multi-cores or if he just uses one core.

The server and the client already support multicore.

Need to make any server specific config settings for running multiple CPUs or the server automatically detect the multi processor system?

I have an TS Server with nearly 190 clients at the same time all day long.
And it doesnt need the power of multicore for real.

Its an Dual Quadcore Xeon E5504 and i have average 30% load on.
But there are multiple websites on it and 5 average loaded mySQL databases.

Hmm I running under VMWare ESX under debian but if we are more than 70+ and two or more ppl pushing to talk the processor load going to 3-3.5 and got robotic voices! Can you share the secret how you configure the ts3 server config? (need anything to to more than default?)

you already have a thread open for that. teamspeak automatically uses all available cores as needed. the problem could be in your OS or your available bandwidth or the amount of system resources vmware is set to allocate to the particular VM.
