    Permission 4877 is "b_serverquery_login".
Check if your group or the "Guest Server Query" Group has this permission.

    error id=2568 msg=insufficient\sclient\spermissions failed_permid=4877

    Hello all,

I followed the instructions to add a second TS account as superadmin. Now when trying to log into the server via the server query interface I get

    error id=2568 msg=insufficient\sclient\spermissions failed_permid=4877

This is true for both, the original serveradmin account and the new SA account that I have added.

Strange. It looks like the DB is really corrupted. All instances work just fine but the SA login is broken.

Did you edit any rights? perm_id 4877 is "b_serverquery_login".
Check if the "Guest Server Query" Group has this permission set, else you cant login to ServerQuery.

Error in login() on line 2060: ErrorID: 2568 | Message: insufficient client permissions failed_permid=4877

This is the more precise version of the error message. And yes, I worked on the server admin groups.

Can this be fixed using SQL?

And another question: how would I check if I can't get in?

Here is the output from the SQL command line:
    Code:
    sqlite> SELECT * FROM perm_server_group WHERE perm_id LIKE "%b_serverquery_login%";
    0|2|0|b_serverquery_login|1|0|0
    0|1|0|b_serverquery_login|1|0|0
    sqlite>

    Solved

Ok. There was a restart missing. After fixing the perm_server_group table entries and restarting the server, now I can log in again using the normal serveradmin login and the new login.

    So that part is done.

Now I am stuck with the other error. I will hopefully iron that out as well with your help. So please have a look at the other post.

    Regards

    [NPL] error id=2568

    Hey guys,

I have currently one running TS3 Server (npl) with 100 slots.

Tried to create a 2nd Server but got the "error id=2568 msg=insufficient\sclient\spermissions failed_permid=4877". Somebody told me thats because the Guest-group on my server doesn't have the b_serverquery_login rights. I tried to add the rights as ServerAdmin-group on my server but I get "<12:23:59> insufficient permission modify power", the modify power is on 75. I saw that even the ServerAdmin-group doesn't have the b_serverquery_login rights.

    How can I fix this?

[s]Ask your hoster to do this. You need Server Query Access for this.[/s]
numma is right, without login you cant user Query for this.

Btw, you seem to have an ancient server version, the perm_ids have changed long ago.

    Two things:
    a) You destroyed your server entirely. There is no way to fix this.
    b) Stop using a server version from the last century.
