    win7 + ts problem

this is mainly a teamspeak problem not just ts3.

dunno how to properly setup the sound in win7.
when other ppl speak on ts they here it thru me.

and i even have every sound on max on the microphone and still ppl here my realy low. but when other ppl speak they here themself loud.
in win xp u could mute the microphone on the inbound to solve this problem

i use voice activation and im complete silence when other ppl speak still my mic starts to send, ( im not using speakers ) just a sennheiser headset so its impossible for the mic to get noices from the headphones.

any tip on how to fix this?

You can also mute the mic on your personal computer in Win7. It's not quite as obvious but if you view the properties of your playback device (most likely SPEAKERS) and go to the LEVELS tab you can scroll down and mute or lower the output volume of the mic.

This sounds to me like you have your sensitivity levels turned up to high in TS on your mic. Have you tried turning them down a bit?

yeah i found that in option under sound settings and its muted, but still the problem occours.

i have the voice activation set so i can almost speak normal without it activate.
but its weird. the activation goes from -50 to 50
atm i have it on like -28 if i put it on -26 i have to scream for it to activate. and if put it on -30 it sends non stop.

That's weird. Do you have another mic to test perhaps?

Are your sound drivers up to date that you are aware of?

what you need to do, is set the record device at windos
    soud
you probably have the mixer as your default divice right now

this is actualy quiet usual bug, alot of ppl have it, once it is a windows problem and not teamspeak itself

    your problem is the driver.

in your mic settings you have no mic boost button.

you need this button because this makes +20 db generell and then max record lvl.

i had the same problem with old drivers. with new drivers the button for mic boost +20 db ist there and then it works very fine.

go to your motherbord company and download the newest driver...and im sure the button will be there because bevore i by my new mainboard i had also a soundmax onboard crad with the mic boost.

    look what i mean:

without these 20 db you will always be to low in pegel

i understand what u mean. but i have the latest driver, i checked asus page.

    i have version 6.10.2.6585 from 2009-05-21

tho i have the mic boost, but can just tick/untick it.

*edit* update the driver, was the same that i already had and no new volume bar for mic boost
