I know this... just wanted to explain that I don't use the menu when
the app window is full screen.

Anyway... Some comment from Teamspek support would be nice

Had built my hope up too soon - yesterday the 32bit version froze my PC as well...

Now I'm hoping for *any* idea what to do...

This is still the case for me and is now crashing my pc daily.

I use the Text to Speech announcer instead of the noises. I will try testing without the voice tomorrow.

As has been stated before, you must be on TS3 awhile, 10+ hours, then when disconnecting it will freeze the whole machine.

No reaction or comments from Teamspeak Systems regarding these hang ups?

Hey guys at Teamspeak Systems, it is amost three months since this has been reported!

Most likely Teamspeak *never* gets out of Beta state...

As long we are not able to reprodcue it, as long we can't solve it.
Maybe you all use the same driver for a device or you all have same softeware running (firewall or other audio tools).

Are you all connected to a big server or for a long time?
How many RAM does the client use before you disconnect? Is it more then 30-50 mb?

I have same issue. Sometimes when I close TeamSpeak 3 (3.0.0-beta35) PC hangs out for really long time (over 2 minutes). But it seems it occurs if you try open some folder/Startmenu/something else before it have closed itself...Not sure about this.

    My system:
    AMD Phenom II X4 B55
    ASUS M4A87TD EVO
    2*2GB Kingston HyperX blu DDR3 1600MHz
    AMD Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5
    Nexus NX-5000 R3 530W

Soundcard is integrated: VIA VT1818 High Definition Audio.

Still happens -- able to recreate

I'm able to recreate the issue by joining an empty private server and quitting. Doing this 4-5 times and I get the hang. Attached is my devcon information (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/311272).

I was also able to grab a memory dump when the hang occurred using the Right Ctrl + Scroll, Scroll (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972110). The memory dump is 100mb compressed, so if you can provide a location for me to upload it I can provide that as well.

My system is very stable in all other aspects, not overclocked, vanilla etc. I'm running the latest linux server for the server and the latest windows client for the client.

Since I am able to reproduce the issue is there any other information you would like me to provide? Any trace points/logging I can turn on? Let me know if I can provide any other information.

    Thanks,..

    Win7 x64
    q6600

Ts3 beta 36 and i get these crashes as well

    Edit:
is seems the computer doesnt crash it only stops rendering the aero interface

i could suspend to ram and resume without problem
    using my keyboard shortcut

so this is why i didn't get any crash report

also it seems to crahs more likely when 2 tabs have a connection...

    @avariel try megaupload.com

    oh an easy workaround is:
    do not close teamspeak...

use the taskmanager to kill the process... works nice

This does not appear anymore with my current pre release. FMOD was removed and maybe it will solve these problems too. (please don't ask for an release date)

Just because you can't reproduce the problem doesn't mean there isn't an issue with this lousy program. It's mostly because your system is different than everyone elses. So rather than making excuses you should be trying to resolve the problem by correcting the codes so this stinking program will work with all the standard audio devices (creative, realtek) that are on most pc's today.

    Hello

I have the same issue on my computer running under win7 64 bits.

The computer freezes during a long time when i close teamspeak. Seems like the computer crashed but in fact, you just have to wait some time, and it comes back. This is quite boring.
