Hi there!

I use Teamspeak 3 on my Macbook Pro for a while, and never had any issues with my sound. But now my sound recording in Teamspeak 3 (and only in Teamspeak 3, I tested several other programs without any problems) is totally corrupt. The voice sounds like metal and is like a chopper effect, it is coming and going. It is nearly impossible for others to understand what I am saying.

I am not sure when this problem started, maybe last week, I don't know. I run OSX 10.6.4 on a Macbook Pro 15" (early 2009) and use only internal audio hardware. The problem occurs with build in micro and with external micro (not usb-mic, a mic connected to the audio input).

I also use an iMac (early 2006) with OSX 10.6.4, the same Teamspeak version, the same Teamspeak servers, the same internet connection, and here the sound is perfect. So it is a local problem on my Macbook Pro, but I have no idea where to start searching.

Any suggestions?

Regards,
Marcus
