Thanks for all the help but after that last log check I came to the same conclusion you did, flushed my DNS's and reset my NIC and now its connecting fine.

    Thanks Again.

    Hello.

I have similar problem like any others on this thread, i'v read it all, but didn't find solution, here is problem. I running TS3 64 bit server on win x64 platform. Internet comes over d-link dir-300 wireless router, i did port forwarding like its explained in this topic, and u can see how it looks like on screenshot "port", and on "cmd" screen u can see basic info of ipconfig.

So now, on PC which run server i can connect normally with localhost (127.0.0.1) address, from other PC which have internet over previously mantioned dir-300 router, i can connect to TS3 server using ipv4 (192.168.0.101) and it all works fine locally, but when i give my external IP (109.94.99.xx) to someone else he cannot connect, with :9987 after IP nor without it. I disabled firewall, and tryed everything i found in this thread might be usefull. If you need any extra info, i will provide it instantly.

    Thanks in advance.

TS3 Server Setup - please help

Hello I read the thread of how to forward ports and such, but had a question.

Is there a way to setup a server that my friends can log in from home. I am using a dynamic ip address and don't have access to static IP address thru my provider ($$$$).

Is there a method using dynamic IP address, if not what options do I have to run from my computer?

I tried many different methods and port checkers, but they always come up closed. Thanks

Friend unable to connect to my server.

Okay, I've been attempting to setup a TS3 server for the past two nights and I'm stuck.

The ports open: UDP 9987-9987 UDP 8767-8767 TCP 9987-9987

My firewall is down and I am able to connect. what am I doing wrong? They just keep getting "Failed to connect to server" errors.

Edit: I gave them my WAN Ip while I had to use my local IP to connect.

Okay, I've done everything mention in the tutorial and in this thread, Ports are open and firewall is down.
but when people try to connect they're still getting errors. there is no password and I am sending them my WAN IP (81.155.97.192)

The server is up all day, feel free to try and connect. I did a small test where me and my friend connect with "Hamachi" and tryed it with my local IP, still nothing.

    Edit: Ip is 81.155.97.192

I saw on this model, that you have to set a range port 9986-9988 instead 9987-9987.
Also, I saw a second parameter to open a port.
But I guess it's done too.

So, if you have teamviewer (if not download it ) send me in private message the ID and password, we try to find the problem (I'm curious now )
