    server connection

I'm running windows 7 64-bit, and teamspeak 3-64 bit, but I seem to be the only one able to connect to my server. I have forwarded all the ports through the modem, checked the firewall for problems,,,,and my friend still can't get into my server.
I must be missing something but I don't know what.
    Can anyone help?

    Hello

Do you provide the correct IP (your external IP) ?
    It's really a modem or a router ?
    Some model request a range port (9986 - 9988 instead 9987 - 9987)
Do you check the server log ?

Well checked server log and there is nothing in it {empty} I did go through Portforward setup for a Static Ip that I need for the Pk5000 DSL modem and router, or so it's said, and then got the pfportchecker program to see if they were all working and they were, nothing there now. The only think I did't do was to use the IP in the right spot,,,no sure where it should be added.

    --- Merged ---

I was also wondering if there is a way to check if the server is working without calling a friend have see if they can get in or not?

Yes, I think I'm using the right IP the modem is 192.168.0.1 and so forth for the modem, the IP for ts3 says it needs or is using is (97.121.61.175) and this is the IP that whatismyip.com sends back to me as my net IP,,,I know there are other sub-net IP's.
I also so made a static IP (192.168.0.150) that one of the online help sites said I had to have for tp3, but it didn't seem to make and differnce so at a loss here. I may just have to go back to ts2, I had that one working. I don't know, I'm at a loss here, I'm good at building up computers, but when it comes do sofeware, well I'll just say that most of the time I can make the sofeward do what I want, but that's about it.

    @MayLawnA Fawn

You need to ensure that your port forwarding is pointing to the LAN IP of the machine that hosts your server. If that is the 0.150 address ensure that you either set it as a static route, enable an IP reservation for that machine or do both. That will ensure that even if the machine gets rebooted it always has the same IP address for port forwarding. Check any software firewalls/anti-virus you have to make sure it isn't blocking a connection. The IP address you get from whatismyip.com is the address you need to give to anyone outside of your network.

    ***EDIT***
I was able to connect to your server w/ out an issue.

Done all the Port Forwarding instructions.. friends still cant connect

I've followed all the instructions on the port forwarding thread, but friends still can't connect, unless I've done something wrong.
This may be a silly question, but do I look for my Router IP address on my broadband or wireless router? I'm no computer genius :P

I used the broadband box anyways, and when it came to the' Port Forwarding Teamspeak on Linksys RT31P2', the box where you enter the ip address you setup says 192.168.1.__, and youre left to fill in the blank, but my IP address was 192.168.15.50, so is that where im going wrong? and if so im not being given another option ...

    Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

For most users their LAN IP will start 192.168.1.X In your case it is 192.168.15.50. This can only be used for computers on your network. Visit whatismyip.com to get your WAN IP address. This is what you give to friends outside of your network. If you want to follow the instructions on that page just put the number 50 in the blank and remember that the address is 15.50 not 1.50 so anywhere you see 192.168.1.50 you would use 192.168.15.50.

Why you used this parameter?: voice_ip=86.90.135.27
