Cannot Connect, Client Crashing, Windows XP

It doesn't matter what server I try to connect to the client crashes every time. I tried to connect to the test server under the getting started tab and I got a message that said that the server had too many clients. Then the Teamspeak client showed an error that said that the client had crashed. This happens no matter which server I try to connect to.

Also I tried to uninstall and reinstall. No change.

I also tried it with the firewall on and off and no change.

does this create a dump file? or a .dmp? If so, please upload it to here http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthread.php?t=46880

I am not sure why you crash all the time.

Also, are there errors in the client log?

    Posted the .dmp file

No errors in the client log

I was able to get into a server though. I was able to see the lobby this time but it still crashed and created a DMP file.

Now we just have to wait . I do not have any suggestions to be able to help you out. Just get the next client release and check it then.

Thank you for uploading the dump.

Does anyone ever read the crash dump files? How long does one normally have wait for them to respond?

they usually don't respond to the dumps. I assume that they just look at them, try and find the problem, then fix it in the code. Ergo, there is nothing for you to really do. The next release for the client is monday. You'll have to update and see if that helps your problem.

Many crashs on conenct are causeb by FMOD. The devekopers can't fix that, but it is planned to overhaul the complete sound input/output system.

Here you can get the latest beta23

Is there anything that I can do to get TS3 to work on my system? I can't believe that there is nothing that can be done. I'm sure thousands of people have computers just like mine and are are able to run TS3. So what do I need to do to solve this?

Do you still crash with the newest client?

As long your crash belongs to FMOD you only can try to update your drivers, try another playback and capture mode under Settings > Options > Playback or Capture.

I updated my audio codecs. I don't know if that's what you meant when you said to update my drivers. I use realtek hd audio if that helps.

He meant update your sound card driver. If you use realtek find the most current driver for it and see if the problem is fixed.

I don't have a sound card. There's no room in my tower for one.
