[Suggesion] ServerQuerry Private Message at Serverchat

    Hello,

    I have a suggesion!
Many people know the ts2perlmod from teamspeak2.
Any user had become an message (if welcome message = on^^) in red.
In teamspeak 3 should it not be able? Yes it is! Hostmessage!
    http://img837.imageshack.us/i/tswisch.png/
I have mark the hostmessage.. it were verry nice when I can use this message in the serverwindow not only as hostmessage!
I think it will be nice:

    Code:

serverclientmsg cid=21 message= Hello this is my message, that you can read in the server chat
Well, I can use the private message tabs, but.. should any user at any connect to my server close this private tab? its bether when it able to write in the serverchat. i hope you understand what i want..

    best regards

For a message of this type you can use the welcome message feature of the TS3 server (edit virtual server in TS3 client).

PS: No user can become a message .

The welcome message is bullshit.. sorry but i cant make variables like "<ip>" (i see my own ip)

    The best were
    Code:
Hello <Player>! Welcome at our <Server>.
Your IP Adress (<IP>) has been logged.
    blaaa blaaa blaaa blaaa...
    And in look likes this:

    Code:
Hello prOnoOb! Welcome at our Great Teamspeakserver.
Your IP Adress (111.222.33.44) has been logged.
    blaaa blaaa blaaa blaaa...
This variables will be used by an script that i want to develop.
bether is it when i can use it under teamspeak :-D

Soo... this message should stand in the server chat, and not in an private chat from "server"...

But i know that this feture wont be included, so I want a Private message from querry like ts2. Its able! Please the same like hostmessage.

@ Denniminator: Then you have two problems: Displaying messages for one client only in the server chat, and displaying the IP address of the client (currently you can not see the IP of a client on telnet).

    I support both suggestions.

i know that this is from ts2perlmod.. but its not able to release under teamspeak 3. nowbody want a private message from server with this text!
the bestł is when its stand like hostmessage in serverchat...

i want do devlop an welcome message script (like ts2perlmod - welcome message for ts3) but I cant devlop one, when I cant send one user a text in the server chat.

    and now back to topic!
I mean the ability to write in serverchat to ONE user! Not the variables!

There are already bots for TS3, but they have the same problem with the welcome message, of course:

Maybe I don't really understand you,

    What I want?
A querry cmd thats send messages like hostmessage.
    IN the mainchattap like hostmessage!!

Of course I know this bot is for teamspeak 2 server.

    This just a suggestion.
There seems you doesn't like a chat message tab.

You can find a best bot for your in the addons website.
You can also write a request to a dev of bot to add your suggestion.

The problem is: It is not possible to send a message to a single user in the server chat tab (by telnet server query). Thats why Denniminator created this suggestion.
