[BUG]Permissions doesn't load and weird issues with screenshot

Hi,

One of our Server Admin has a hard time getting into the server. He needs to try numerous times to be connected (connected but no ping, unable to move and talk, "retrieving data" and after 10 sec. he is disconnected) but after 10-15 attempts usually he is successful and he can use the server with full permissions. This issue happens every day, it is reproducable for him every day so it's not a network problem. Today he was able to join for the first time but with crippled (?) privileges. He was not able to upload / download, move clients, ignore passwords but he was able to join to a channel with "Needed join power = 75" for example. Please look at the screenshot, he was asked for a Channel Password although he is a SA. Please look at the "Last Connected" field too, it shows an incorrect time. (server: beta 28-pre). After serveral reconnect, he gained the correct permissions automatically (we didn't change anything). As you can see from the screenshot he is a member of Server Administrator group only as we all are. (I'm too) In the Client log there are only these lines:

So no sign of a successful connection although he is on the server, he is able to speak, he has icons...etc.

Is it only him getting that?
It can be, when the file perm.dat don't gets send successfully, then some permissions can be misisng.

Please let him clear his cache folder under Settings > Options > Security > Clear Cache (he needs to disconnect from your server first!).

Why it is no network problem? You said that like it's TS server's fault.
Have he tryed to connect to an IP and what is his ping to your server?
Does he use a Lan cable? Are his drivers up-to date?

Hi,

He is the only one getting this error. He use LAN for cable Internet (LinkSys router is involved). Connect to IP doesn't work, drivers up to date, cache cleared. I don't know what is his IP since TS says: "retrieving data..." No other informations are displayed.

It seems like he has very slow connection but he doesnt. His icons appears very slowly and loading channel list takes ages. After a successful connection he is fast like thunder and his packet loss and ping is very good as long as he is connected.

UPDATE: He disabled his Realtek onboard LAN and switched to WiFi (same router is involved too). Everything works correctly. But its not the solution because every other software (XFire, games, MSN, Skype) works with that Realtek chipset.
