send text messages to everyone

I am trying to turn on the setting "send text messages to everyone" but I am getting insufficient permission modify power.

Can anyone tell me what I need to set to turn this option on?

Also is there a way to send a text message to a channel that you are not in?

1) In Server Groups Permissions: Client -> Basics -> b_client_server_textmessage_send [✔]
2) It was already asked on forum, use search before you ask. No it's not possible.

I have this one checked I want

Global -> Administration -> Send text message to everyone

That is the one I get the permission error on. How do I set that one.

Hi,

my bad, I didn't understand correctly for the first time.
If you are server admin and you cannot Grant this permission then you don't have Grant permission access for this command. You would have to do this via server query then or add yourself to default group (Server Query Admin) which will have this permission granted for sure.

If you decide to use Query box, type this:

use sid={server id here}
servergroupaddperm sgid={group ID here} permid=4878 permvalue=1 permnegated=0 permskip=0

I am having this same problem. I reinstalled m TS3 Server yesterday and now my members cannot send text messages. Everything looks like its checked so I'm not sure why they are getting the error. Does anyone have any ideas?
