[Release]Rhythmbox plugin

Hey everybody,

I'm new to C++ and tried to create my first plugin. I used my 1337 copy/paste skills to generate the code. So please don't be so harsh.

What it does:
Lowers your Rhythmbox volume if someone is talking and restores it afterwards. (both predefined values changeable in the settings dialog)

Requirements:

• Linux 64bit (tested, works)
• TeamSpeak 3 beta-30 build 12369
• Rhythmbox 0.12.8

Download:

How to install:
Make sure you download the correct verion (64bit).
Extract the .zip file somewhere and then simply put the "librhythmboxplugin.so" into your TeamSpeak 3 plugins folder.

How to use:
Load the plugin. Done.
You can change the settings by clicking "Settings->Plugins->select Rhythmbox Volume->Settings" in your TeamSpeak 3 client.

Info:
The settings are saved in "/home/<usr>/.ts3client/rhythmbox.conf" once you used the settings dialog.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but there is only one plugin-file? Does it work for both 32-bit and 64-bit?

Hi Eddy,

as you can read in the requirements section it's only for 64bit atm. I couldn't compile it for 32bit. But I'm on it. I will upload a 32bit version today/tomorrow!!!/anytime evening.

And yes, you just need one plugin file. First extract the .zip file then put the "librhythmboxplugin.so" into your TeamSpeak 3 plugins folder.

Thanks Dominik! This will become my favorite plugin. After some additional work it is worth to post this to the main TS site.

I've got one bug: sometimes after I release push-to-talk button, TS still (for about 1 second) indicates that my mic is activated.

The bug you've reported is no bug. It's a TS feature.
Check you TS settings: Settings->Options->Capture->Delay releasing Push-To-Talk
