Every 2 minutes an unknown login

    We are renting a TS3 server @ I3D.net
    Address: 188.122.94.***:10007
Version: 3.0.0-beta29 [Build: 12473] on Linux

We had allmost every 2 minutes a login from an "unknown" client. See Log:

    Code:
9/30/2010 8:44:30 PM VirtualServer Info query client disconnected 'Unknown from 188.122.94.89:58749'(id:16164) reason 'reasonmsg=disconnecting'
9/30/2010 8:46:30 PM VirtualServer Info query client disconnected 'Unknown from 188.122.94.89:59049'(id:16164) reason 'reasonmsg=disconnecting'
9/30/2010 8:48:32 PM VirtualServer Info query client disconnected 'Unknown from 188.122.94.89:59715'(id:16164) reason 'reasonmsg=disconnecting'
9/30/2010 8:50:32 PM VirtualServer Info query client disconnected 'Unknown from 188.122.94.89:60393'(id:16164) reason 'reasonmsg=disconnecting'
I was unable to have the IP adres banned using the banlist in TS3 .. Maybe because of the port change? Changing the password did not help either .. After googeling i tried altering the "needed serverquery view power" from 75 to 110. After this change the login from the IP adres noted in the log stopped. The IP adres in the log is simmulair to that of the server adres.

But stil i am not sure why or how this all happened ... typing the ip adres: (188.122.94.89) into the google searchbar gave me a few hits .. http://www.google.com/webhp?rls=ig#s...1e913587efeb1d

Could someone help me out on what might be going on?
I send a ticket to the sserver provider but they will react tomorrow at the most early .. Probably by telling me to change the password :S

My guess is this is something like GameTracker or TS Viewer. It is connecting via the guest query account. You could try and change your query port so it cannot connect anymore.

I could not find our server name on TSviewer nor on gametracker .. i search by name and IP.

how could the server and unknown client IP be simmulair to each other in this case?

Crap! it says public allthough it should be private .. could someone try and login via: http://ts3monitor.com/informations/1...0007-9900.html

In the Teamspeak3 --> Settings --> Options --> Application TAB

I checked "show ServerQuery Clients" that is why i saw that Unknown user loggin in every 2 minutes .. Now if i uncheck "show ServerQuery Clients" I will not see that every 2 minute login .. but why is it login every 2 minutes??? on the serverquery???

You can use services like http://cqcounter.com/whois/ to see to whom the IP belongs. In this case its Interactive 3D (your hosting company). I think they have a status script running which checks their customers servers. Should be nothing to worry about.
