Right, I detailed this as a way to reproduce the TS3 client basically breaking when an audio source changes. This used to not happen with older versions of the client.

I believe this same thing would happen in a few scenarios. Most of which probably involve multiple sound cards, usb web cams, etc. My thinking is that if anything can cause the TS3 client from working properly it must be a bug.

We are currently doing some redesign in our audio playback code, and we hope that once this is done we can also confirm the problem with adding/removing sound cards is fixed. And of course the stale decoder thingy.

This just started to happen to me a few days ago. It happens always between me and other user. I get those errors and stop listening him, while TS says that he is transmitting all the time. To solve that, either me or him have to restart TS.

The only thing that i can see that changed that could lead to an error, is that i started playing a game which uses the nProtect GameMon.

I use Win7 64 and he uses XP 32. Both of us have the latest client build (3.0.0-beta36 [Build: 12815])

Is there a fix for this yet? I dont remote connect or change any audio devices and this happens to me every night. I use no game protections.

Symptoms only seem to appear if any of us on the TS have been logged in for more then 4 hours. Or if there has been a lot of connect/disconnects to the server. Server is standard. No plugins connecting to it, using default db. Just some user permissions groups setup.

All 15 of us that use it regularly have the same version. Most are on Win7 32 bit, but a few are still using WinXP 32 bit also.

Only way to solve it is for person experiencing the loss of sound/constant transmit on a user and the user they are having issues with, is for both to reconnect to TS. All other users can hear both users just fine. In fact the user that appears to quit transmitting or their transmit light sticks on can hear the user that can't hear them.

Each line is repeated about 10 to 15 times

I have noticed that the only time I have this issue is when the DirectX overlay is turned on. Once I shut it down, I have no more problems.
