    Red face Server can't start in BSD amd64 with MySQL

    hi, I have tring to run TS3 server on FreeBSD amd64 with MySQL for many times, but it did not work at all. where have i done wrong?

    first, I download teamspeak3-server_freebsd-amd64-3.0.0-beta29.tar.gz and extract it. Then I edit ts3db_mysql.ini and ts3server.ini in teamspeak's directory.

    then I type this:
    LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./ts3server_freebsd_amd64 dbplugin=ts3db_mysql dbsqlcreatepath=create_mysql/

    error msg:

    Hello

    In your ts3server.ini
    - dbpluginparameter=ts3db_mysql.ini

    just write dbpluginparameter=

    To start your server :

    you can use this :
    Code:
    ./ts3server_minimal_runscript.sh inifile=ts3server.ini
    or write in ts3server_startscript.sh
    Code:
    COMMANDLINE_PARAMETERS="inifile=ts3server.ini"
    and just start this script.

    Delete that you wrote in LD_LIBRARY_PATH

    About libts3db_mysql.so, you have many answers in this forum.

    I had try both of it but nothing had cahnged.
    the erro msg is the same.

    i had search the forums about the "libts3db_mysql.so", but most of it is based on Linux, not BSD.

    I got the libmysqlclient.so, but the version is different.

    $ mysql -V
    mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.1.49, for portbld-freebsd8.1 (amd64) using 5.2
    $ find /usr|grep libmysqlclient
    /usr/local/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.16
    ....
    $

    I have the exact same issue, currently I have mysql5.1 server/client installed on a freebsd server. Just so I understand, it needs to be mysql50 server/client? It will not work with sql51 or 52?
