    Move Power Issue

I have 2 radio channels setup and I want to make it where only the SA can move people out of these channels when they are in there but when they are not, my clan admin group can move them around in other channels.

So here is what I have:

    Clan admin:
    Move power: 50
    Needed move power: 50

Radio channel has a setting of:
    Needed move power: 75
Even with the setting set on the channel clan admins can still move them out of that channel. My understanding is that the channel would apply the 75 to people when they are in there.

Any ideas what I have wrong?

Thanks in advance for the help,

If you right click on a user in that channel and select permissions -> permissions overview you can filter that to the move permissions and look at the related permissions. If a server group has the skip permission set on Needed move power the permissions from the channel and channel group are not applied to users in those server groups.

Best to just use the overview to get a visual idea of what is happening.

OK I put the user in that channel and did the overview:

    Code:
    Server Groups
    	Clan Admins (10)
    		Client Move Power 50 0 0
    		Needed Client Move Power 50 0 0
    	All
    		Client Move Power 50 0 0
    		Needed Client Move Power 50 0 0

    Client
    Channel
    	Hits
    		Needed Client Move Power 75
    Channel Client
    All

    	Client Move Power 50 0 0
    	Needed Client Move Power 75 0 0
Looks like the 75 is applied but still can move with only 50.

    Here is a guest:
    Code:
    Server Groups
    	Guest (8)
    		Needed Client Move Power 25 0 0

    	All
    		Needed Client Move Power 25 0 0
    Client
    Channel
    	Hits
    		Needed Client Move Power 75

    Channel Client
    All

    	Needed Client Move Power 75 0 0

I have an update. I have not changed anything except removing and re-adding "test" users to the group and it started working for all groups except mine the SA. When I am in the channel I can still be moved by the clan admins, but they can't move guests or other clan admins so it is working for every group but SA. I have checked and SA group does not have the skip set. And my needed move power looks the same as the others:

I am at a loss now why it does not apply to the SA.

    Code:
    Server Groups
    	Server Admin (6)
    		Move Channels 1 0 0
    		Client Move Power 75 0 0
    		Needed Client Move Power 50 0 0
    		i_needed_modify_power_client_move_power 75 0 0
    		i_needed_modify_power_client_needed_move_power 75 0 0
    	All
    		Move Channels 1 0 0
    		Client Move Power 75 0 0
    		Needed Client Move Power 50 0 0
    		i_needed_modify_power_client_move_power 75 0 0
    		i_needed_modify_power_client_needed_move_power 75 0 0
    Client
    Channel
    	Hits
    		Needed Client Move Power 75
    Channel Client
    All
    	Move Channels 1 0 0
    	Client Move Power 75 0 0
    	Needed Client Move Power 50 0 0
    	i_needed_modify_power_client_move_power 75 0 0
    	i_needed_modify_power_client_needed_move_power 75 0 0

    Hummm....
I've attempted to reproduce this on my test server and I get the expected error:
<23:31:07> insufficient client permissions (failed on i_client_move_power)

Is it possible that they are getting kicked from the channel, then moved? Kick from channel is a different permission than move.

No I am sure it is not a kick. I am just dragging the user to another channel. If it is anyone other than the SA it gives me the correct error like you said insufficient client permissions (failed on i_client_move_power). If I try and move the SA as an admin it moves him. It acts like the skip is on but it is not.

ok I had someone else join my TS and granted them SA and a clan admin could move them but no one else in other groups. Took away the SA and made them just clan admin and they could not be moved. I have got to be missing something in just the SA group but not sure what it is.

Just created a new server from scratch with the latest build. Here is the setup. I have the 3 default groups: SA, normal, and guest. I set SA to have needed move power set to 50 and I set normal to have move power of 50.

I created 3 users: Tester1 added to SA group. Tester2 added to normal group and Tester3 and left in guest.

I have the default Channel and I added 2 others test1 and test 2. On test1 I set the needed move power to 75.
If I put tester3 or tester1 in the Default or Test2 channel Tester2 can move Tester1 and Tester3 around.
Then I put Tester1 and Tester3 in the Test1 channel. Tester2 is unable to move Tester3 out of the channel because of <13:12:10> insufficient client permissions (failed on i_client_move_power), but tester2 can move tester1 without error.

It seems like the channel permission is not applying to the SA.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

    If SA_group has enabled: b_client_skip_channelgroup_permissions
any channel permission can overwrite the original.

About your question, I think it should be:

    In ServerGroups:
    Server Admin
    i_client_move_power 75
    i_client_needed_move_power 75
    Clan Admin
    i_client_move_power 50
    i_client_needed_move_power 50
    Normal
    i_client_move_power (disabled)
    i_client_needed_move_power 50
    Guest
    i_client_move_power (disabled)
    i_client_needed_move_power 25
    In Channel Permissions:
    Radio Channel
    i_client_move_power (disabled)
    i_client_needed_move_power 75

I was thinking there was a permission like that but was searching for ignore. I'm about 87% sure that is his problem.

That did it. Thank you for the help. I guess I was just overlooking it the whole time.

Thank you Screech for your help also.
