Can't connect to server query on clean install - beta 30

I just wiped out my server and did a fresh install of beta 30. I copied and pasted the server query and admin token. I can log in and assign myself admin in the client itself using the token. But when I try to log into the server query via a telnet session, I get the error:

login serveradmin "copied and pasted password"

    error id=520 msg=invalid\sloginname\sor\spassword

It seems difficult to screw this up. Has anyone else run into this?

    Hello

For test you can restart your server with a new password :
    Code:
    ./ts3server_startscript.sh start serveradmin_password=<password>
