First I would like to start by saying that I have already searched these forums and have found many issues of this occurring in the older Beta released. However, I have not seen any happening recently, nor have I seen any fixes for the issue that work for me. I will attempt to place all logs and information needed here to hopefully come to a quick resolution.
I am getting the dreaded "|ERROR |Accounting | | too many slots hosted, shutting down!" problem.
Upon the latest reinstall I used ANR Daemo's guide to put the files in the proper locations, permissions, and upstart script.
Steps taken thus far:
- NPL Support has issued a NEW Unique License
- Reinstalled Teamspeak
- Reinstalled Server
- Deleted Server within Teamspeak Config and recreated as a 32 slot
- Turned off the server for 24 hours and started again
- Ensured proper server time using ntpdate-debian

We on forum can not check which servers are registred to that NPL
Something or someone does already use that license and already has registred servers with slots!

Hi (Sorry for my very Bad english)
I have a Non profit License, i add the Licencekey.dat file on the root directory of my TeamSpeak 3 Server installation folder and i restart my server but after this operation i can't connect on my server.
The License port (2008 TCP) are open and before add licenkey i have no problem for connect to my server.

Hi,
I am setting up my server again after someone completely broke it.
I've completely removed the directory that previously contained the old Teamspeak server in /home. I re-downloaded the server files, extracted them, placed my licensekey.dat file in the directory. Used Screen -S to run the server file in, and I get this error message about there being too many slots?

Hello all,
I get an NPL Licence two weeks ago, but my server crash 2 times and i've got a little problem.
I've install TS3 server & i can connect it without problem. But when i put my licencekey.dat the server start but nobody can't connect it. Don't know why. i've Open a ticket few days ago but don't have answer.
for resume.
Launching server without the key, it's works but limited to 32 slots
Launching server with the key in the folder, the server start but can't connect on it.
If someone have an idea it will be great.

I have an NPL license and am hosting a teamspeak 3 server however, now, when I start the server it gives me an error and shuts down. Any way to fix this?

Hi
I have just installed some new hardware running Windows 10 which i want to host my TS3 server from. I have installed Server 64-bit 3.0.11.4 and that works fine until i put in my licensekey.dat file then i can't connect to the server at all. Connecting from external or internal IP addresses results in "Failed to connect to server" messages in the TS3 Client.
Any help resolving this quickly would be much appreciated as not all our clan members can connect to the server.

Nevermind - I waited around 40 hours and added the extra slots with no problem. Server hasnt shut down with the too many slots error and has been up for 20 hours.

We were granted our NPL license yesterday and after following instructions and installing the license we up'ed our slots. All was good for around 30mins and then the server shut down and we received the dreaded - too many slots error.
I followed the instructions on the first post but was still unable to connect to the server. I totally wiped the server and reinstalled from scratch, loaded it up - worked. Shut it down, added the licence and restarted the server - still works but I have left the slots at 32,
My question is (mainly because Im a bit nervous of it going down again and not being able to access it and having to start over again) it has an Uptime:16 hours 55 minutes 38 seconds with the license file in place. It shows License:Non-profit license. How long do you think I should wait before adding extra slots to the server. I really don't want to go through the whole too many slots error troubleshooting again, or have to reinstall teamspeak all together.
