Client permissions not working, even with no overwriting permissions from server grou

    Hi,

I have myself added as server admin. I want to add client add power to myself so i can add myself if i am removed from the group. I did this but after I do I cannot add anyone to a server group, and I cannot add myself to a server group either. This happens with and without server admin. The only fix is to remove the permission from my client.

    Hello

    That's works for me...

What is the value of :
    • i_group_member_add_power (in the server group)
    • i_group_needed_member_add_power (in the server group)
    • i_group_member_add_power (in your client permissions)

Do you check "skip" or "negated" options, on your permissions ?
What is your client version ?

To check your permissions, you can also use the permission overview.
Right click on your > Permission overview

Sorry I can't check the exact permissions (I'm not home right now), but I had the stock "normal" group and group add power 75 added to client permissions.

I will get a PDF of it when I get home.

There seems you haven't any client permissions.

Are you sur that you have set correctly the i_group_member_add_power permission (in the Client Permission tab) ?
Do you get an error message, when you try to add this permission. ?

EDIT: Fixed it myself, I had to skip channel group permissions. Is there a way to automatically do this for all clients?

If this skip is use on the client permission, no.
