    Solved change Server Query Admin Icon

    Ok, so I used the search function and came across this thread :http://forum.teamspeak.com/showpost....41&postcount=5

    I've tried to grant the Server Admin Query the rights to manage icons and set an icon size. I used this command:

    Code:
    use sid=27
    servergroupaddperm sgid=3 permsid=b_group_icon_manage permvalue=1 permnegated=0 permskip=0
    servergroupaddperm sgid=3 permsid=i_group_max_icon_filesize permvalue=8192 permnegated=0 permskip=0
    However, I get this error:

    error id=2562 msg=invalid\spermission\sID

    I've also tried granting the group the "Ignore needed permissions" power using the same command above (switched the ID of course) but it still gave me that error.

    My Server Admin Query ID is 2 on the server. What am I possibly doing wrong?

    Also, I'm getting a database invalid constraint error, but I plan to fix that when my buddy gets online so we can work it out. Could this problem be due to the database error?

    Remove the word GROUP from the permission. That changed a few server updates ago.

    b_icon_manage now instead of b_group_icon_manage

    I've got the same problem...
    I used the new command "b_icon_manage" but still getting the same error as before:

    error id=2562 msg=invalid\spermission\sID

    I tried to change this value directly in the DB, but no change here

    Following your advice, panik, it worked! However, it gave me the error "Insufficient Permission Modify Power". A quick search brought this up:

    Code:
    serverid=YOURSERVERID
    id1=GROUPID ( 6 = ServerAdmin )
    id2=--->Ignore this<---
    perm_id=b_permission_modify_power_ignore
    perm_value=1
    perm_gegated=0
    perm_skip=0
    Using the above template, I changed it to this:
    Code:
    use sid=27
    id1=3
    id2=0
    perm_id=b_permission_modify_power_ignore
    perm_value=1
    perm_gegated=0
    perm_skip=0
    I cannot get past id1=3 as it tells me that it's an invalid command. What do I need to fix?

    ROFL, I know what you found. Here are two links you need.

    First
    http://forum.teamspeak.com/showpost....0&postcount=36

    Second
    http://forum.teamspeak.com/showpost....41&postcount=5

    Remember to remove the word GROUP from the permissions if you choose to use the query code (recommend it)

    Instead of i_group_icon_id the permission is now i_icon_id

    I use MySQL, in the DB i cant find the permission "b_permission_modify_power_ignore" ...

    Is there a difference between MySQL and SQLite?

    Hello

    You have an inconsistency in your database.
    Check it with this tool : http://addons.teamspeak.com/director...Integrity.html

    Or, you have conflict with the "client permissions".

    Wrong. We've just disabled custom group icons for ServerQuery groups as they're not meant to be used by regular clients.

    @Leitwolf

    Already answered. You can't set a new icon on the Query Admin group with the regular client.
    You must use the Query command.
