    Permissions Bypassing

    Hi,
Today a guest has entered the server and I don't know how, but he could write me in private without having the power to subscribe to channels!
I spent 15 minutes to ban all accounts with which he entered, but still manages to write in private, what can I do? (Guests Group is not allowed to subscribe to all channels)
    Thanks

    Hello

There is no link with the subscribe power.
This user has certainly saw your nickname in the main server tab and used the right click menu to send you a message.
Check the private message power in the guest group.

How can I remove the permission to show the main server tab or similar for Guests Group?

What exactly do you want to do? Do you want to prevent guests from viewing you in another channel or just prevent them from sending a private message to you?

I would like to avoid that Guests can view the main server tab, but I think that isn't possible...

No you can't prevent that but you can make it so a guest cannot subscribe to multiple channels. This limits who they see on the server. On my server guests can only be subscribed to 1 channel at a time which is the channel they are in. This prevents them from seeing clients in any other channel unless they join that channel.

Resolved, I made a new group (Registered) that allow you to chat and subscribe to channels, without that group you can't do anything.

Good to hear We use the same type of setup on our server. No need for guests to be able to see anyone or text them. Keeps the riff-raff out
