    Not allowing Voice Activation?

Is there a way to disallow users from using Voice Activation? I thought I recall seeing this in the past... though maybe Im just losing it in my old age or maybe Im thinking of "the other" voip software?

Hmmm ok so apparently you can use b_client_force_push_to_talk but I set it under Channel Permissions and people can still use Voice Activation... where else should I be doing this?

And the problems multiply... one of my other admins decided to go messing with settings and he disabled Voice Activation... AND he disabled Continuous Transmission AND seems now nobody can mess with the b_client_force_push_to_talk for other channels and users... its says: insufficient permission modify power ... UGH! HELP!

    Hello

    For your second post
Check if the b_client_skip_channelgroup_permission on the server group.

Server Group for Admins has a check mark for this under Value. My biggest concern now is getting back the permission to edit the b_client_force_push_to_talk

Could you post a screen shot about the permission.
What error message do you get, I mean the entire message ?

(If the grant permission was deleted, you must use the query command to redo)

So I was able to get the query command done so I have the permisson back...

Question is... disabling the push to talk.. is this suppose to disable Continuous Transmission as well?

Yes. Force Push to Talk means only PTT will work.

If you are having troubles please do a permission overview ( right click client -> Permissions -> permission overview) and filter out 'push'. This will show you where the client is getting their permissions from. The last one under "all" is one you'll want to pay attention to. If this isn't correct, then there is something wrong in the hierarchy of the permissions.
