Changing Port 9987 (Insufficient Permission Problem)

I'm trying to change the port to my teamspeak 3.

I've tried to use this command on the serverquery:

    use 1
    login serveradmin password
    use 1
    serveredit virtualserver_port=9988
    serverstart sid=1
It gets stuck at serveredit virtualserver_port=9988 and returns me this message:

    error id=2568 msg=insufficient\sclient\spermissions failed_permid=9023

I've read around and from what I've read on these forums you need to either have 100 permission for i_permission_modify(?) or group ID 2. Root Admin is currently (6).

How can I get this so I am able to change the default port?

    Hello

    Little precision.
When you use the serveradmin query account (login serveradmin....) you are in the Query Admin group (group ID 2).

So, there seems the b_virtualserver_modify_port was removed in this group.

Do you change something in the Query Admin group ?
Do you change something directly in the database ?

Hey florian_fr40 sorry for the late response. I haven't touched anything in the Query Admin group or so I believe.

How would I know if it's checked? Where can I check?

Just to be sure, add this permission :
    Code:
    login serveradmin <password>
    use 1
    servergroupaddperm sgid=2 permid=9023 permvalue=1 permnegated=0 permskip=0

Insufficient client permissions again. Stopped at the:
    servergroupaddperm sgid=2 permid=9023 permvalue=1 permnegated=0 permskip=0

    error id=0 msg=ok (25 ms)
    error id=2568 msg=insufficient\sclient\spermissions failed_permid=17298 (17 ms)
    Total: 42 ms

Do you change something in the Admin Query Group or directly in the database ?
permID=17298 : i_group_modify_power, sound like this permission was removed or change. In this case it will be difficult.

Sutpid question but, do you rent your Teamspeak server or you are the owner (I have a doubt) ?
If you are the owner, there is solution with the database.

I'm the owner - I do not rent. I'm able to change the server port on a fresh install of TS3 but if you recall since you helped me with this, I had switched hosts and transferred all my files over. I also chmod it like you said and everything worked fine except the port changing.

So, I used the files you sent me, but I have no error message. Port change without problem.

I saw, in the database, there is another user with an query login and password, but without any permissions or group.
Do you use this user (supercoke) ?

When you try to send a query command, do you use the ServerQuery window from the Teamspeak client or a tool directly on the query port ?

I do not use that user and it should not have any access and yes I do use the ServerQuery window from Teamspeak client.

For test, try with a tool directly on query port.
If you have TeamViewer, send me the ID and pass, I'm curious now

What tool should I use? I've never really had to use one.
