Solved Others are Unable to Connect

I can connect to my server via the LAN ip but others outside of the LAN cannot. I have followed the guide and it still does not work.

    Any help?

    Server Address: 65.40.98.53:9987

Also my ISP is CenturyLink/Embarq and my router is a 2wire 2701HG-S.

    I have Windows 7 64 bit.

    Hello

    What guide ?
    I assume the PoisonPanik's tutorial.
DO you try to turn off the windows firewall ?

Yes that is the tutorial I used. And I do not use Windows Firewall or any other firewall application.

I have ports 80-20000 both UDP and TCP forwarded....technically to avoid these problems. I also had the system in DMZplus mode (The Router's DMZ mode) and it still failed to function.

    Delete your DMZ settings.
As said dante696 just forward the required port.

    Remenber :
    9987 in UDP
    30033 in TCP

Ok Ports forwarded, however since my friends won't be online for another 12 hours can someone here test it?

Also what if in the future for whatever reason I need to forward the 9987 TCP port for say a game server or something?
