    Solved Settings up groups

    So after hours of research I still don't really understand how to achieve this:

    Basically I want to have 4 Server Groups. Server Admin, Admin, Member and Guest.

    I want it so Server Admin can do everything (already achieved obviously)

    and so that Admins can only move people and kick people (but not be able to kick Server Admins) I don't want Admins to be able to edit channels or any other admin related stuff.

    Members should be able to kick and move people (but not kick admins or server admins)

    and Guests shouldn't be able to do anything (again.. achieved by default)

    How do I achieve this for Admins and Members?
    Any help appreciated, yes i'm a noob.

    Hello

    You have to set the power and needed_power correctly.
    An example with Server Admin and Admin group for the move permission :

    In the Server Admin group:
    i_client_move_power = 75
    i_client_needed_move_power = 75

    In the Admin group :
    i_client_move_power = 70
    i_client_needed_move_power = 75

    The Server Admin member can move the Admin member, and the Admin member can't move the Server Admin member

    Thanks for your help.

    OK I've done what you said.
    So the i_client_move_power = 70 should be the value.
    One question, what is the difference between value and grant? Do I need a grant? or just value?

    Yes 70 is for a value.

    Don't change the Grant permission if you don't know.
    The grant permission system is like "permission in the permission system".
    For more information and for your good understanding, please read the documentation : TeamSpeak 3 Permissions Guide.txt

    First, you have to upload a "A" icon on the server : Tools > Edit Virtual Server > Click on Icon.
    Then, on a server group select this new icon : i_icon_id permission.

    So I made some icons and got them working for me.
    How do I make it so everyone can see them without having the actual png file on their own machine?

    How can I host it and have TS3 server look up a link?

    If you have uploaded this icon with "Tools > Edit Virtual Server > View Icons" and you have choosen a icon in a server group by i_icon_id everyone can see this icon.

    When I select the file and click "Upload" nothing happens. It won't let me upload.
    I only have the icons in the local section.

    Check in your server group if you have b_icon_manage permission

    The permission is there, but even for server admin it has a grant set to "0" and it doesn't let me change the value, skip, negate or grant.

    Do you rent your Teamspeak server ?
    If yes, you must ask to your hoster.

    My host says they are waiting on files from the developers related to hosting icons. So guess I'll just have to wait.

    The developers have nothign to do with it
    Your host just blocked filetransfer for the server...

    Hosting icons is already possible with icon manage and filetransfer enabled.
