    Group Sorting Question

Hey, i have a simple question: How i can change the order of the servergroups in the channels? I have changed some settings and now an other group is above me as admin in this channels.

    normaly it is like this:
    me (admin)
    ... (member)

    and now
    ... (member)

    Thanks for help

Groups are sorted primarily by i_client_talk_power. Groups with higher talk power will be above those with lower talk power :-)

You can also use the sort permission that was implemented with the last update. Just filter by sort or id.

IFAIK, that new sort permission is just for when the groups are displayed (setting or editing groups) and maybe for the icon order to the right of the nick name. Users in a channel are grouped by talk_power, alphabetical of nick.

    I have a similar question.

I have around 30 server groups. Most of the groups are based off of the US Army ranking structure. Some of the groups are for Staff member positions.

The problem I am having is this:
Member "a" has a rank of E-4 (Specialist) and his sever group (E-4) has a talk power of 10.
Member "b" has a rank of E-4 (Specialist) and is a Staff Member. He has the E-4 server group with a talk power of 10 and the STAFF server group with a talk power of 23.

Member "a" is listed above member "b" because they have the same rank and his name comes first alphabetically. The E-4 server group has a talk power that is lower then the Staff Server Group, so how can I get Member "b" to be listed above Member "a" because he is in Staff?

    Thanks, Joe.

    1. is there any skip checked in those groups talk power?
    2. or perhaps its not that at all, have you checked those two users channel groups? Is it same for both of them?
    3. Use right click on them Permissions > Permission overview and filter it by "talk power" what do you see?

If you don't know what I was talking about post a screens of 3 for user a and user b.

    easy help please

how do you make it so names on teamspeak are in rank order rather than ABC order
    atm it is:
Server Leader -> Leader -> Registered with voice/channel admin -> non Registered
i want the channel admins/voice to be after leader then registered without ca/voice then non registered.

    All help appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

    AND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i made it so you need 40 access(registered rank) to subscribe to a channel.
but now every time anyone leaves a channel, he unsubs from that channel

Give different talk power to each server group. The higher talk power will be at the top and so forth.

In Your client go Permissions > Server Groups. Modify the permission i_client_talk_power. For example, server admin (75), normal (50), and guest (25). So anybody that belongs to normal will be above guest on the list, and those in server admin will be above normal and guest. If you want 'guest' server group above all then choose a value of 80 for i_client_talk_power. I hope you understand.

    Channel Group Sorting Question

How do I make players in one group get sorted above players in another group while in a channel together?

The sorting is working well except one rank.
EX. Groups Named "One" through "Five", five being highest and one being lowest, the server seems to be sorting like this

    Player in group four
    Player in group five
    Player in group three
    Player in group two
    Player in group one

How can I make players in group "five" appear above players in group "four"?
