    Solved Saving query/filetransfer port changes

I'm able to change the query AND filetransfer port however whenever I restart the server it goes back to port 10011 and 30033.

I'm changing the query and filetransfer ports with this command:

    ./ts3server_startscript.sh start query_port=10222

Any idea how to save them? I've been looking around but the most I get is this!

    Hello

Are you 100% positiv that the port 10222 is free ?
Do you get a message (error or information) in the server log ?

Do you start the server with our "server.ini", when you restart the server? Maybe it overwrites this setting.

I used the ts3server.ini as well and changed the information to port 10222.

@florian_fr40 There is no error. After doing changes, it works on port 10222 until I restart the server.

And other TS server settings are saved on restart?

Please open the database file with an sql editor and check the ports there.
You can find it under the table instance_properties
Open it before you start the server and check the ports.
Open it while the server runs (hope it was changed there) and if it was changed, open it after you closed the server.

I've tried looking for instance_properties under the /sql folder and I do not see a match there. Should I be looking elsewhere?

Edit: I actually found some instance_propterties under default.sql and I see the server instance_properties for filetransfer_port and not query_port.

Edit2: After saving the new filetransfer_port, I did "./ts3server_startscript start filetransfer_port=33433" and it still stayed on the port 30033. I also noticed it still says port 33433 on the defaults.sql.

ts3server.sqlitedb is your database file with server settings. Open this file before and check the values. Open it whiel the server is running. Aand open it after the server instance shutdown.

I managed to change and save the filetransfer_port via ts3server.sqlitedb. I'm not seeing how to change query port though?

The problem is that to change the query you must do what you did ....

    Make point
You use a ts3server.ini file, so could you post it.

It does not save though even with the ts3server.ini file. I have to manually change the port every single time. How can I change it permanently so it doesn't go back to port 10011 every time teamspeak restarts?

ok so method from the documentation :

    - Edit the ts3server_startscript.sh and replace this line :
    Code:
COMMANDLINE_PARAMETERS="query_port=10222 ${2}" #add any command line parameters you want to pass here
Now to start your server => ./ts3server_startscript.sh start
