Guests > create channels > server admin???

i made a group in my server called "server admins" and my "original admin i renamed as "owner" anyways, my guests and "normal" server group" can create channels, which are temp channels, then they can go into that channel and make them selves "server admins"
so how do i stop people from making themselvs into server admins?

even if they are "channel admins" they can make themselves into server admins as well????

can someone please help me fix this?

    thanks

    Hello

Check the member_add_power permission on each server group.

    Default value :
    Code:
    Server Admin
    i_group_member_add_power 75
    i_client_needed_membre_add_power 75

    Normal
    i_group_member_add_power (deactivated)
    i_client_needed_membre_add_power 50

    Guest
    i_group_member_add_power (deactivated)
    i_client_needed_membre_add_power (deactivated)

    Channel Admin
    i_client_kick_from_channel_power 50
    i_client_needed_kick_from_channel_power 50
In your new server group, don't forget to check the b_client_skip_channelgroup_permissions

thank you very much for your help, i am deepy grateful and appreciate your help.
    2 last questions,

    1."
In your new server group, don't forget to check the b_client_skip_channelgroup_permissions"
(do i look for this in all "sections" of server groupse.g., normal, guest, admin, andif so what are the values?

2.for channel admin, do you have a page or values for the "default" values for all in that group? one of my admins screwed with it, and i'd like to set all values back to default?.....it seems my channel admin perms are all screwed as well.

    thanks again :-)

For 1, in your new "server admin group".
No value, just check this permission.

    For 2
    Code:
    Channel Admin
    i_group_member_add_power 50
    i_client_needed_membre_add_power 50

    Operator
    i_group_member_add_power 30
    i_client_needed_membre_add_power 30

    Voice
    i_group_member_add_power (deactivated)
    i_client_needed_membre_add_power 25

    Guest
    i_client_kick_from_channel_power (deactivated)
    i_client_needed_kick_from_channel_power (deactivated)

    For test:

Right click on this user > Permissions > Permissions Overview
A new window will open with all permission for this user (group, client, channel permission). You can find where is the "bad" permission.
If you are not sure, click on "Export as PDF" button and post the pdf file here.
