Whisper to Server Group - Can the channel transmissions be muted during transmit?

Issue:
A channel is populated with 20 people, both admin and non-admin. THere are admin in other channels. The admins of the populated channel want to speak to all other admins but do not want the regulars to hear it as it relates to a sensitive issue. When the admins in the other channel whisper to the populated channel the general chatter of the channel drowns out the admin only chat.

Tested:
We have made admins priority speakers but when they transmit to the admin group it does not mute other people in other channels speaking at that time like the way it does when a priority speaker transmits in own channel to the channel users.

Question:
Is there a way to allow admins to communicate with each other and not have to listen to general channel chat?

Hello

This behavior is linked with the Echo Reduction db in the settings.
When you use a whisper hotkey, this reduction db is apply.

Settings > Options > Capture > (check echo reduction if it's not the case) > increase the reduction db (I use -30db)
Using the whisper, you hear nothing else (until you release the whisper hotkey)

That works when I transmit but not when Admins transmit to me. WHen they transmit the whole channel transmits at full volume.

I know what it is you're saying Trojan, and I know I have somewhere in the past read that a function to satisfy this problem is in the works...I'll search and see if I can find the thread.
