Problem to start my server (upgrade debian)

    Hello
I have a problem after the update to the version debian squeeze
    The server will not boot:
    Starting The TeamSpeak 3 server
Teamspeak 3 server started, for details please View the log file
    ts3 @ vm: ~ / $ teamspeak3-server 2011-02-09 20:37:58.245904 | CRITICAL | DatabaseQuery | | Unable to load database plugin library "libts3db_mysql.so" halting "
    I guess that's a concern for libmysql
I run the server with ./ts3server_minimal_runscript.sh he started using the plugin and then my sqlite database is not taken into account
My configs are ok because it worked on debian lenny.

    Thank you for your help
    (I use version beta30)

    1/ libmysqlclient15off have been installed :

    Code:
    /usr/lib/libmysqlclient.a
    /usr/lib/libmysqlclient.la
    /usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so
    /usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so.15
    /usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so.15.0.0
    /usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so.16
    /usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so.16.0.0
BUT, /usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so is linked to libmysqlclient.so.16 (which is logical ..)
Does it need to be link to so.15 to work (ts3 call the generic lib or a specific one.. ?)

btw: why ts3 isn't available for mysql client lib 16 ?

    2/
    copy libts3db_mysql.so ==> /usr/local/lib/mysql/ is ok~
    => doesn't change a thing.

    So, another solution ?

    yo, a short question.
We don't know if its 64bit or 32bit Debian install.
Second question is if your TeamSpeak3 is 64bit or 32bit?
Same question could go for mysql install.

In my knowledge there is no update 17 file in the sql folder (or I missing something )

What start command do you use ?
Could you post the ini file that you use.

That is not relevant in this case.

    Server MySQL update-17 problem

    Hey,
I have some problems with my teamspeak server.

Everytime I start my teamspeak server it gives me this error:

    Code:
    2011-05-03 16:53:28.542589|INFO |ServerLibPriv | | Server Version: 3.0.0-rc1 [Build: 13991], Linux
    2011-05-03 16:53:28.544507|INFO |DatabaseQuery | | dbPlugin name: MySQL plugin, (c)TeamSpeak Systems GmbH
    2011-05-03 16:53:28.544590|INFO |DatabaseQuery | | dbPlugin version: 1
    2011-05-03 16:53:28.551880|CRITICAL|DatabaseQuery | | setSQLfromFile( file:sql/update_17.sql) failed
I searched this sql file in the sql directory, but I didn't found it. --> file:sql/update_17.sql

Somebody has the same problem? or a solution?

    Thanks,
    Frezy

So many answers, so little help.

I read the threads, read the rude responses that the update-17 problem was already posted, and none of it worked.

You know what worked... realizing that following the directions to upgrade the beta to RC1 I had just copied the new files in, but that sql, docs, and serverquery had not copies successfully... so I renamed the old versions of those three recopied the missing files.. and then it worked updating the database and functioning perfectly again.

    Hope this helps someone else.
