Question Permissions from 1 virtualserver affect all virtualserver - no reset possible

    Dear guys,

I'm hosting a ts3-server beta 30 x64 on Debian linux with the non-profit license from triton.
I've created some virtualserver for my friends so they can play around with them.
TS3-Server is based all up of a mysql-DB which works really great.

Unfortunately one of my friends had some trouble with the permission-system and it seemed that he did some mistakes. I didnt spend much attention to this, but I should have.

On his virtualserver it isn't possible to change "i_client_modify_power" because he removed this permission from the Server-Admin-Group.
I wanted to reset this with my query-login and "serveradmin" (which was initially created on first start) but it wasn't possible, it tells me, that even the "serveradmin" doesn't got enough rights to do this.

I tried all options, but I neither was able to reset the permissions for this virtualserver nor to delete the whole virtualserver.

So running this TS3-Server with a mysql-db gives me the possibility to manipulate and modify the permissions directly in the database, doesn't it?

-> I need some keywords for searching with phpMyAdmin in the database to find the entry for changing this right. I know there are some permission-IDs, Group-IDs and stuff like that, so I need some help at this.

Or is there a possibility to export all other servers to mysql-dump, delete the whole database and import the backup ?

    best regards
    foxxx

PS: please excuse my bad English - I'm from Germany

    Hey, Foxxx
I think you just need to add the "grant" Permission too.
You can add the permission with this command(just replace the sgid):

    Code:
    servergroupaddperm sgid=6 permsid=i_needed_modify_power_client_modify_power permvalue=75 permnegated=0 permskip=0

So if i type in your command, it tells me:

    error id=1024 msg=invalid\sserverID

i tried it on the other virtualserver-id's too, but i always get the above error-message.

something went really wrong i guess ...

So the server is not selected or not running.

    Type
    Code:
    login serveradmin password
use 1 < your server id
    servergroupaddperm sgid=6 permsid=i_needed_modify_power_client_modify_power permvalue=75 permnegated=0 permskip=0

ah my fault, forgot that step, now the result:

    Code:
    servergroupaddperm sgid=4 permsid=i_needed_modify_power_client_modify_power permvalue=75 permnegated=0 permskip=0
    error id=2568 msg=insufficient\sclient\spermissions failed_permid=17298
you see what i mean ? even the "serveradmin" has not enough permissions ....

It seems, that you don't have enough Group modify power
Are you logged in with the real Query Server Admin or just the normal Server Admin group?

Did you get a message after your login?
    error id=520 msg=invalid\sloginname\sor\spassword or error id=0 msg=ok

    Please type
    Code:
    login serveradmin password
use 1 < your server id
    permget permid=17298
    It should shown you
    permsid=i_group_modify_power permid=17298 permvalue=100

    Code:
    login serveradmin XXXXX
    error id=0 msg=ok
    use 4
    error id=0 msg=ok
    permget permid=17298
    error id=2568 msg=insufficient\sclient\spermissions failed_permid=20908

    if I now try "permget permid=20908" :
    Code:
    permget permid=20908
    error id=2568 msg=insufficient\sclient\spermissions failed_permid=20908
