Solved BUGS in RC1 in combination with plugins

BUGS in RC1 in combination with plugins

    1. Rooms with Passwords are suddenly not visible anymore.
    2. PLUGINS become unavailable, TS GATEWAY COMMANDER doesn't work, COMPORT SWITCH doesn't work...
    3. Rooms with an audiostream become unavailable.

Conclusion: If you are using Teamspeak together with transceivers (in combination with TS GATEWAY COMMANDER) do NOT install the RC1 update.

RC1 is API-11 and TS Gateway Commander is API-8 (max beta-36)

that plugin's author needs to release an update to support rc1.. The authors of plugins should be following the betachannel releases and updating along the way and keeping those updates hosted on another site, not uploaded to the addons sections. But have the update ready to upload. If they were prepared like this they could have uploaded it the day that rc1 was released to public.

API 11 was on the beta channel for 5-6 days before reaching the public update servers.

Nice, but not really... Anyone using one of the plugins used bij LPD/PMR/CB hamradio amateurs will have to reinstall beta-36... but where to download that version? The search starts again...

Another problem is the audio... After updating one needs to reconfigure his/hers audiosettings, quite annoying when there are more bookmarks (different ts-servers) with different audiosettings.

I will not mention the slower TX-RX switching and the not so clear received audio...

If you read the announcement thread you will know where to get beta36.

Yes the audio needing to be reconfigured is a little bit of a problem but not that big a deal as it only needs to be done once. Well, once for now. When I updated the playback and capture profiles the bookmarks just excepted the updates. Now if you made new profiles instead of updating the existing ones, you made it harder for yourself.

Not sure about the TX-RX switching as TS3 works as a full duplex audio application, not half duplex.
