    yeah i tryed it. nothing work. it keeps freezing if i test my mic. it keeps freezing alltime! pls fix it!thx

    hello,

    sorry my english isnt the best one. i have this problem too. before the last update comes, i works fine all the time. after the update ... i have the same problem that after a short time - ts3 client is freezing. i dont hear any sounds. if i kill the ts3client.exe from my taskmanager - the sounds are back.

    i use windows 7 professional 32bit - on an athlon xp 3500+ processor.

    Yes it was not supposed to be fixed. That version should put some extra lines in the log files. Please send me a log file made by the new version when you got a freeze.

    thorolf: Did you try the test version in post 26 and waited at least 12 seconds before killing ts3 client? The information in the log produced by that version could help me find this problem

    We hope to fix this bug with our latest pre version of our Rc2 client.
    Please download it and update your client.
    Rc2-pre2 for Windows 32-bit or
    Rc2-pre2 for Windows 64-bit

    - Please give us some feedback, when it solved your problem.

    - If this does not solve your problem
    Give us feedback and some logfiles from your client, to get more informations about this problem.
    This client sends more informations to your log files, when something went wrong.

    I can reproduce Stale Decoder when i unplug my G35 :-/
    I try to find out what's going on, my config is weired

    Is this fix attempt only present in the Windows version or the Linux rc2 too?

    *EDIT Ok no rc2pre for Linux available so ignore the question

    Windows only at this moment. Looks like Direct sound causes some problems here.
    Do you get Stale decoder on linux too?

    Nope, I get the log like I posted, more info is sadly not available.

    The Linux rc2pre2 version seems to work for now, but couldn't test it with a reasonable amount of other people on the ts yet.

    So a cautious "yaaaay it works"
