To activate the advanced permissions system:
Settings --> Options --> Application --> In the "Misc" section activate "Advanced permissions system"
There is this sticky thread about it:

I am trying to give myself the same server admin permissions on a second home pc, If i understand right i need to use the same unique ID. I have managed to do that. When I go to Permissions menu at top of window and click permissions I do not get the same menu I get on the 1st pc I set up the service. I have included a screen shot of what I see. This is not the same menu I get on the set up pc. I have tried using same privilege key and a new privilege key and get the same error message. (typed wrong or already in use).
Is this possible to do? And how do I accomplish it?

I am attempting to change/set power values for server groups, but all that I am capable of working with at this point is this:
Yes, I am a server admin. I am new to this, so I don't understand whether it's my client or a permission that is keeping me from viewing values and is, instead, allowing me only to edit general information. In order to accomplish what I need to do, I need to be able to set values like as follows:
Server Admin
i_client_kick_from_server_power 75
i_client_needed_kick_from_server_power 75
i_client_kick_from_channel_power 75
i_client_needed_kick_from_channel_power 75
Normal
i_client_needed_kick_from_server_power 50
i_client_needed_kick_from_channel_power 50
Guest
i_client_needed_kick_from_server_power 25
i_client_needed_kick_from_channel_power 25
Channel Admin
i_client_kick_from_channel_power 50
i_client_needed_kick_from_channel_power 50

thank you so very much!!![]()
So i created my own non-profit teamspeak 3 server so that i could chat with my friends. Now everything is set up and i want to edit client permissions. Now i dont know what it is but i do not have the option to do so, but he does. We are both server admin. I just find it odd i dont have control in my teamspeak server but he does. Any help is appreciated.
As you can see im lacking the full permission list even though we are both server admins with the exact same group and permissions.

Ever since I updated to 3.0.18.2 the advanced view on server and channel permission tabs disappeared and I can not change anything. Was this feature removed for some reason? And how do I get into the advanced screen?

Sorry for the stupid question, but for some reason my permissions have no integer values or anything anymore, and are simplified to the point where it is impossible to manage. Why does it look like this, rather than with number the way it should?
I can also no longer edit individuals' permissions?
EDIT: Figured it out. Needed to turn on advanced permissions in settings, then application.
