Update to latest server RC-1 removed my server admin permissions

The title says it all. The recent server update removed my server admin permisisons. I also am unable to access any privilege keys (grayed out) leaving me unable to admin my server on any level.

Is there a fix for this, or do I need to wipe the installation clean and remake the server?

If you have your Admin Server Query password then you can do this
    Code:
    login serveradmin password
    use port=9987
    servergroupaddclient sgid=6 cldbid=2
change the numbers to meet your needs sgid is server group ID and cldbid is your client Database ID. do this using Telnet on port 10011 if you dont have your Admin Server Query password then reset it by doing this http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthread.php?t=48255

    This doesnt work.

Using the login information I originally had (which was not ever changed through anything I did) it gave me

    error id=520 msg=invalid\sloginname\sor\spassword

    self explanatory

So I tried changing the password via the tools in the thread above.

    Same error.

I tried login names serveradmin, admin, superadmin , and my personal account.

    Nothing worked.

Its looking alot like Im going to have to wipe the server and start again.

Ok fixed this somewhat, with the aid of Psychokillers Teamspeak 3 web interface and a program called sqlitebrowser. Apparently my serveradmin database entry had the password purged and replaced with some invisible characters, causing problems all around.

    BUT

I still am unable to add myself to my full privilege server admin group ID #3.

The web admin interface allows me to add to server admin group ID #6, but thats a group I created and does not have full rights.

When I try to telnet and add this via the message above I get the following:

    Code:
    TS3
Welcome to the TeamSpeak 3 ServerQuery interface, type "help" for a list of comm
ands and "help <command>" for information on a specific command.
    login serveradmin (mypassword)
    error id=0 msg=ok
    use port=9987
    error id=256 msg=command\snot\sfound
    servergroupaddclient sgid=3 cldbid=2
    error id=1024 msg=invalid\sserverID
I have verified the existence of serverID #3. I have also tried multiple other server ID's and get the same error. It appears this syntax may be incorrect.

No server was selected here. please don't ignore this error.
    Code:
    use port=9987
    error id=256 msg=command\snot\sfound
Server Group ID3 is a template group and you can't add yourself into such a group.
    Please use group 6 instead.
    Code:
    servergroupaddclient sgid=6 cldbid=2

    Hey,

Thanks for the reply, but thats not solving my particular issue. Perhaps I wasnt clear. The Server Group 6 "Server Admin" does not have a full set of commands. As the initial creator of the teamspeak server I should have a full set of commands, and infact once did, until this update.

I had assumed Server Group 3 had all permissions, but perhaps I was wrong. How do I restore my complete functionality as server creator? Right now I do not have it, and have to login using the web interface, change my permissions manually on my client in order to make even the most basic changes, then remove them again.

    Hello

    You have 2 solutions :

    Reset your entire permission system
    Code:
    login serveradmin <password>
    use port=9987
    permreset
Please note, you have to use an external tool (like putty)

    Copy/overwrite the server admin group
    Code:
    login serveradmin <password>
    use port=9987
    servergroupcopy ssgid=3 tsgid=6 name=Server\sAdmin type=1
