    Cant set permissions for client-kick

I have a problem with the permission-system. I Dont know if the problem start with RC1-Update. The Problem: All User can kick other user and i cant edit the rights.

I'm a User in the Group Server Admin. The Group has rights to edit Groups.

    i_group_modify_power = 75

Now i will edit the group Server Admin. i wil set i_client_needed_kick_from_server_power to 75 but i cant, the server say insufficient permission modify power.
Other permissions i can edit, for example i can remove the i_client_needed_ban_power and then i can new set the permission. The only permission i cant edit are the kick_from _server and kick_from_channel permissions.

Has anyone a similar problem or can help me?

The same her, I searched for persmission modify power. This value is set to 100.
After that I tried it about the server query (ts3 Webinterface) and I cannot set the values for kick powers.
Editing the ban power from 25 to 24 works fine and the most other things.
The second value that I cannot set is for my servergroup " b_permission_modify_power_ignore "
Do you use the sqlitedb since starting the ts3 beta?

    Hello

Just one question, do you set correctly the i_group_auto_update_type permission since you use Teamspeak ?

Why people never read the documentation during beta period

    This permission is important.
It determines how the permissions of the group will be updated during a server update.

In your case permissions were never updated and your permissions system is corrupt.

I strongly recommend you start a new Teamspeak instance from the latest version (like a new installation). To get a fresh and clean permission system.

More importante information about auto_update_group :

Whenever the Permission System gets updated, the server will automatically try to assign the new permissions to your existing groups.
To enable auto-updating, simply add a value for i_group_auto_update_type of the target group. The following values are
    available:

Value 10: The group will be handled like 'Channel Guest'
Value 15: The group will be handled like 'Server Guest'
Value 20: The group will be handled like 'Query Guest'
Value 25: The group will be handled like 'Channel Voice'
Value 30: The group will be handled like 'Server Normal'
Value 35: The group will be handled like 'Channel Operator'
Value 40: The group will be handled like 'Channel Admin'
Value 45: The group will be handled like 'Server Admin'
Value 50: The group will be handled like 'Query Admin'

Alright, I used the sqlite Maestro to manage the two sqlitedb's. (Export and Import the Channels).

We did read the documentation - but auto_update is still not set on our servers
And - all permissions are correct so far (RC1)...

In order to be able to modify ALL of the setting on a ts3 server you must first be in the "SERVER QUERY ADMIN GROUP" refer to this thread to learn how:
