    Garbled audio with webcam mic

    Greetings,

I have been experiencing an ongoing problem with TS3 since the orignial beta release.

I use my USB webcam's mic as my capture source. I have a logitec QuickCam 9000. The mic on the webcam works perfectly, but when I use it in TS3 as my capture source the audio is garbled.

I have found that if I do either one of two things it fixes the problem.

    1) I go into the capture settings in TS3 and start a capture test, stop it, then start and stop it again. This fixes the problem 80% of the time.

    2) If the first method doesn't fix the problem then connecting to a server, quitting TS3, then re-launching TS3 and connecting to a server again will fix it 100% of the time.

I have decided to finally post this problem as TS3 is in the release candidate stage now and the problem still exists.

    System Specs:

WIndows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (Fully updated with latest drivers for all hardware)
    TeamSpeak3 RC2 64-bit
Logitech QuickCam 9000 with latest drivers

If you need any other information from me, please let me know and I'd be more than happy to provide it.

Have you tried other capture modes in TS3's capture settings?

I have tried all the capture modes, and it always does this if the client has been closed for a significant time (over-night) or if I have rebooted my computer.

I think it has something to do with initializing the microphone on the webcam, and it's not happening properly. I dunno, just a guess. If I use a desktop mic plugged into my mic input on my audio card it works fine.
