    Solved Some texts in the TTS are wrong with the phonetic servername

    Hi I have the feeling that some texts are wrong when you set a phonetic server name.
    But when you set none and use the default name (server) the sentence sounds OK.
    The problem in the texts is "the" before the servername
    For example if you use the next two sentences:
    • ${clientname} joined the ${servername}
    • ${clientname} entered your channel ${channelname} on ${servername}

    and you fill in "Mars" as a phonetic servername the first one is wrong an d the second is OK.
    But when you fill in "Moon" the first one OK and the second one is wrong.

    My suggestion is: remove all the "the" in the TTS before the ${servername} and set the default phonetic servername to "the server"

    When someone now want's to set is they can choose for themself if it needs "the" before the servername. In the example it will be "Mars" or "The Moon"

    We changed the spoken text inside the variable ${servername} from "Server" to "the Server" and removed the "the" before the variable.
    Fixed

    In which version is it fixed?
    Because it seems that the final build (14954) doesn't fave the fix in it.
    Even when I look in the changelog I don't see an entry about it.
    Will it be fixed in an 3.0.1 release or did I overlook something?
    B.t.w. I updated via the auto update

    Yes it is fixed in our 3.0 release.
    Only important changes will be written down.

    Why you did not just test it out for yourself

    Well I did test it but I still hear and see that the texts are "wrong".
    When I look at the settings.ini in TeamSpeak 3 Client\sound\default_speech the File (modified) date is 9th of june 2011.
    After a re-install (uninstall and clean install) of Teamspeak the date is 18th of may 2011 Which I think is strange but maybe I touched/changed the other one.
    But when I search both settings.ini files (before and after the re-install) I'll still find "the ${servername}" 5 times (I don't know what it was before the update because I don't have the old file). They are all in the client section and are:
    • CLIENT_CONNECTION_CONNECTED_SERVER
    • CLIENT_CONNECTION_DISCONNECTED_SERVER
    • CLIENT_CONNECTION_DISCONNECTED_CURRENT_CHANNEL
    • CLIENT_CONNECTION_LOST_CONNECTION_SERVER
    • CLIENT_CONNECTION_LOST_CONNECTION_CURRENT_CHANNEL

    Did I overlook something or am I looking at the wrong location or is the file accidently not committed/checked-in/pushed before the build was run (I won't blame you guys, it also happened to me sometimes).

    For some extra information: I used the Windows 64bit installer on Win7 Home Premium 64bit.

    It was partial solved in 3.0.0, because the phonetic servername was changed in the 3.0.0 release only the texts not.
