I was having this problem, had forgotten to release the gate 30033, in my case resolved thereafter.
Im running a teamspeak 3 server by portforwarding but the icons don't work...what ports do i have to use to get icons on my teamspeak to work?

Transfer "icon_2849359603" reports: (could not open file transfer connection)
Port 30033 is open & is accessible.
The file creates but the size is 0 bytes then it deletes after a short period of time.
Thank you.
Owner,
Could you let me know any permissions that would effect this?

i seem to be having trouble uploading icons.
i get this error every time i try
<22:18:40> Transfer "icon_181172533" reports: (file transfer reset)
<22:19:01> Transfer "icon_181172533" reports: (could not open file transfer connection)
no clue what to do. thanks in advance
i opened the transfer port but i still get the same error. does it need a reboot?
TCP Port 30033 (by default - can be changed) needs to be open and - in case of NAT - be forwarded to the correct ip.
After that it should work. Maybe you opened it as UDP? A reboot never hurts but shouldn't be necessary at all.
I am having the same issue. As far as server query and the actual voice server goes, it's working fine. But anything to do with 30033 is not working. I do have everything forwarded through my firewall, and reboots have been attempted on both firewall and server. Here is the netstat from my server for more information (without the MySQL and irrelevant connections):
I should also add that I can see other traffic from the internet on that IP and port, it just seems to be the filetransfer that is having issues.Code:TCP 192.168.1.143:10011 Ares:0 LISTENING [ts3server_win64.exe] TCP 192.168.1.143:30033 Ares:0 LISTENING [ts3server_win64.exe] UDP 192.168.1.143:2011 *:* [ts3server_win64.exe] UDP 192.168.1.143:9987 *:* [ts3server_win64.exe] UDP 192.168.1.143:9988 *:* [ts3server_win64.exe] UDP 192.168.1.143:9989 *:* [ts3server_win64.exe]
