Solved (not possible) Sound Scripts - Any way to turn off per channel?

i want to turn off all sound scripts on one channel; is there any way to do this?

the channel is for when you are busy doing something else and you dont/cant talk. i made an 'afk' channel, gave it needed talk power of 200 so no one can talk, but when in it you can still hear the channel joined/disconnected/etc sound scripts.

If anyone knows how to turn these off on a channel basis or some other method to totally mute all sounds on one channel (without having to mute the speakers), let me know.

    thanks,

    mark

This is not possible. You can change it for different bookmarks, but not for channels.

Just verifying this is still not possible. There is no way to set up a "need quiet but not afk" channel for our guild? Like there's no way to turn off all sound/notifications in a channel?

Exactly there is no way to set a sound script for each channel and this won't be changed, but there is a way to switch the soundpack to "deactivated" per hotkey.

Just open Settings > Options > Hotkeys > Add (next to Remove) > Show Advanced Actions > Go to Sounds
now you can deactivate the sounds or switch to another instaleld soundpack.
