I think you need to improve on a desktop client then import to the mobile...
I should test a low level ID on one of my servers...

    Security Level for iOS

Just a quick bug to report:

When trying to connect to a server on the iPhone, the servers security level has to be as low as it can be to connect. I had mine set at 23 and I kept getting errors such as "Could not connect: Could not validate identity".

As soon as i dropped the servers security level to 8, i was able connect.

I'm attempting to get the same thing working myself and doing that didn't work for me.

My server level is set to 24. If I lower it to 8, the IOS client connects just fine.

Edit: Nevermind. I got it working after some tinkering. I created a second identity and attempted to connect using that. Same security level problem. Then I switched back to the identity with the appropriate security level and was able to connect.

The app is fantastic! Thanks devs.

    Could not validate client identity

I got Teamspeak for the Ipod yesterday, and it seems i'm unable to connect to my TS3 server.

I've entered all the correct info in, and yet I get the error 'Could not validate client identity (15)'.

I'm able to connect to other servers, just not mine.

    Info; http://i52.tinypic.com/1t7b6b.jpg

    Error; http://i52.tinypic.com/2uehaw4.jpg

Can any one give me any info on what I could be doing wrong?

I think this is the error when the security level of the identity you are using is too low for the server you are attempting to connect to. You need to export an identity from a desktop client that is able to connect to that server and import to your device or if you have the permissions to do so you may reduce the required security level on the server.

Yeah, I was just reading the import thread. I'll give it a bash and see how it goes.

Could not validate client identity (23) even with a lvl 31 identity

    Hello everyone

I have been trying to connect to my security lvl 23 TS3 but I am still unable able to even with a lvl 31 account, It will work if the server is set to lvl 8 but my clan wish the security lvl to say at 23.

Any ideas why it wont connect?

Got the same error after importing my existing identity. Solution for me was to choose/set the new client identity again before connecting to the server. I deleted the standard id after importing my existing one, but the app still connected with deleted old id...
