    Exclamation Blacklist check timeout still alive !

    Hey,

    I know there is already a thread about this topic, but it seems it fell into oblivion some months ago.
    So here's the problem: Whenever I try to join on any Server, I get the red Message (translated from german): Connection to the server failed. When I look up in the client protocoll, there is the error message ,,blacklist check timeout'' for every time I try to connect to a server.
    Were there any advancements made concerning this error? The older thread has over 7.000 views and is 4 pages long, so this is a major problem !

    I would really appreciate if anyone could help me with that.

    Do you have any software like a firewall or anti-virus that might be blocking it?

    ISP blocking, modem blocking. could be several things.

    you can wait for releace of ts3 which will have TCP support.
    but I am afraid thats few of you not only problem.

    I must say that i can't see any server at ALL! (Web Adress List)

    Team Speak 2 is working just fine :/

    I'm using XP SP3 and antivirus/firewall is TURNED OFF

    Client Versionbeta 25 and latest ->same problem :/)

    Hello

    Are you sure that the router firewall is off ?

    For blacklist check up the file port (by default 30033).
    For weblist check up the 2010 port.

    I never have seen that error "Devel TS3ANetwork::Connect failed error: 10060" in client before.

    Have you tryed to connect to an IP od DNS address?

    I don't understand what you mean by that.. Can you be a little more specific?

    Router firewall is OFF, i tried to play with settings (turned off NAT and Firewall etc and combinations of ON and OFF) but there's no progress :/

    My buddies CAN connect to that specific server and to many others but i can't...

    Check up? You mean to FORWARD those ports?

    I can't connect even to TS PUBLIC!

    Same reason.. (blacklist timed out)

    This is an DNS address with a port voice.teamspeak-systems.de:9987
    and behind that adress you will find an IP and Port 194.97.114.2:9987

    Every DNS address will end up in an IP, but both addresses will reach the same server.
    Such an DNS addres won't change and it's more easy to keep this address in mind.

    Other idea, I see in your first post, you have beta 25 client version.

    If you update your client, have you the same error ?

    I'm gonna try to connect to DNS now.

    EDIT:
    IP or DNS = NO SUCESS

    i can't even UPDATE CLIENT because it says:

    2010-08-17 12:28:47.906250 Info Update check timeout
