Solved Question about server admin / server backup

    Hi guys,

Just a question if you setup a teamsapeak server and in the beginning of the installation you get the serveradmin information whit the password included. Wel my question is if you forgot your password is there a way to recover that password? i saw allready few topics about it and youtube videos but they didn help for me...

I is there an ability that you can have more serveradmins? that can controle the whole server i thought the server query is for that reason that can do this all but i am a little bit confused now. Because if you have more virtual servers you must add yourself in every virtual server to the query group... Or do i need no server query for this issue?

2nd question: is there a way to for example if your server is crashed or broken... and you want to reinstall it... is it possible to save my virtual servers of my customers... so that they dont loose anything of information...

    Thanks in advance
    Barry

    1- For recover serveradmin's password: http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...word-Look-here!

2- "serveradmin" there is only one, but you can add to his server group (AdminServerQuery), others identities by ServerQuery.
    Code:
    login serveradmin <password>
    use sid=<server ID> or use port=<server port>
    servergroupaddclient sgid=2 cldbid=<your Database ID>
3-For save your virtual servers, you can use snapshots
