Some people can connect, others can't..I read all post's :-)

    Hi,

I recently download TS3 server, forward all ports via firewall and router...

Everything seemed to run fine for me and another person, but few other people couldn't connect. Friends who can't connect to my server, can connect to other public channels. And they have the latest version of the TS client. They use my IP for connections.

Some friends can connect on few second, then they got "Failed to connect to server..."..and I hear "User timeout"

My client and server OS is Win7 and I am running the latest stable TS client and server version. Server folder is on my desktop, client in program files...

I looked at a lot of posts on the forum, but I have not found a solution.

If you want try to connect and hit me with reply....

    94.189.164.197:9987 pass 111111

If you have an idea what could be .. or what to try, I would be grateful for your help.

    Thanks...

    EDIT
One thing is interesting ... on the site http://www.canyouseeme.org/ I can see 10011 and 30033 port open, but for main 9987 I got "Error: I could not see your service on 94.189.164.197 on port (9987)
    Reason: Connection timed out"

If is my port 9987 really close, then how can one come to my server?

    Hello.

Seems something is wrong with port 9987 UDP forwarding.

I can't connect with the TS3 client (port 9987) but I can connect as query using YATQA (port 10011). Then, be sure of port 9987 is UDP (only UDP) and it's correctly forwarded.

    Greetings.

Respect to "canyouseeme.org" NOT PROBLEM, they can't check UDP ports.

With reference to the IP, I recommend that you use DNS.

And returning to port 9987 UDP, remember (as PotaBlava says), set as UDP "only".
Also there are routers that need a range of ports, trial 9986-9988, instead 9987

OK .. easier for me if not to the port, but that the site does not see UDP.

I am set only UDP 9987, and now I put the 9986, 9988 open. The router is a Belkin and it is same...

Also in firewall I opened the UDP and TCP ...

I also tried to off firewall, but nothing. It is Windows firewall

    EDIT

Can you explain me little closer about DNS...I am not that good :-) I tried some DNS for a few minutes and I did not fix it.
I think it will help me and if it is a permanent solution?
