    Any operation system that exist allows you to rename the file name or it's ending.
    But on Windows you have to use tools or enable to see known file endings. By the default the file endings are hidden.

    TS3 Addon Creation - Failed to read Addon Info

    Hey Everyone,
    I am making an iconpack, but whenever I try to install it, I get the error message "Failed to read Add-On info."
    Any reason why? I have it packed in a .ts3_iconpack file and here is the package.ini

    Code:
    Name = "Zane's Emoji Overhall"
    Type = "Iconpack"
    Author = Zane W.
    Version = 1.0 (release)
    Platforms = win32, win64
    Description= "An emoji system overhall

    \n All Images provided by EmojiOne"

    Your ini is called pacakge.ini but should be package.ini

    I have looked around. How do I use the package installer?

    I have the sounds and the settings file in a separate folder which is usable. How do I put it into the package installer? I can't make sense of what anyone else is saying.

    Here an example with a soundpack (tree-node):

    SoundPackName (folder)
    -package.ini
    -Sounds(folder)
    --SoundPackSounds (folder)
    ---sound_1.wav
    ---sound_2.wav
    ---settings.ini

    Package.ini looks like that:
    Name = SoundPackName
    Type = Soundpack
    Author = TeamSpeak Systems GmbH
    Version = 1.0
    Platforms = All
    Description = "Plugin description"

    package.ini
    plugins
    -MuteToYeelight_win32.dll
    -MuteToYeelight_win64.dll

    This is my package.ini:
    Code:
    Name = Yeelight Mute State Indicator
    Type = Plugin
    Author = Dmitry Khrustalyov / Twixii
    Version = 1.0
    Platforms = win32, win64
    Description = "Yeelight Mute State Indicator"

    Thank you for your help!

    This thread is not about the myTeamSpeak addon page. It's about the package installer itself.

    From what you did show i do not see a mistake. That should work.
    Have you tried it again?
    Possibly a dll is did not make it trough our virus scanner/other protection.

    Can’t extract package.ini error message soundpack

    Hello,
    I have finished with the soundpack, and i put in a package.ini file in it. I’ve did the package.ini correctly. It can’t extract the package.ini as required. This is my first soundpack so how can I fix it? The soundpack would get popular. And when I try to upload it it just says upload failed. Any ideas on how to fix it?

    If correctly means as required then shouldn't it work?

    Show us something. Upload it so we can have a look why it happens.

    Your package.ini is not at the right place.
    It belongs into root of the package.

    The ventrilo is a folder in root and in there (not in the folder) you place the ini file.
