Unused channel tracking and Server List

    Hello!

I have 2 issues to resolve, so let's start.

    1. We are hosting a large public server and we have a problem with unused channels. AFAIK currently there is no way to track "abadoned", unused channels. Is there any way to delete channels that wasn't visited in the last 30 days?
This is a very important issue for larger public servers.

    2. Our server ([salcay.hu] Public TS3) is not showing on the Server List's default view. I reported this problem earlier, but didn't receive any reasonable answer for this problem. I can only see my server if I search for a part of its name. I'm not sure if I describe it well, so here's a few screenshots about my problem:
(Advanced filter options are: Show only without password, Show all (Create Channels))

As you can see, the list is ordered by Client Count, descending. My server is not on the list. There are currently 93 clients on my server, so it should be 2. on the list, but it's not there!

If I search for "salcay", the list shows my server:

My server shows up with correct client count, Country and Region.

Why my server is filtered out from the default view?

I can give you an answer for your second question.

With the "open" filter you are applying you get more than 100 servers,
(see on the bottom, on the left of your image:
    http://noob.hu/2011/12/31/ts1.png ).

Then what is happening is easy to be infered: the TS3 client gets 100 records and sort them to be shown, but your server (and a lot of other servers) it's not present in this packet.

You must apply another filter, for exemple include "Region --> Budapest" or all regions but "Max slots --> 500 : 600"

    Greetings.

    Hello!

Thank you for your quick answer, however, this is not a solution.
As you can see, if I use a Budapest, Hungary filter, my server is still not on the list.
    http://noob.hu/2011/12/31/ts3.png

I understand how the server list works.
My problem is I don't know why my server is filtered out of the default listing and the Budapest, Hungary listing. A lot of servers on these list are empty or have very low slot count, therefore they should be lower in priority than my public server. The list should filter out those small servers, not a big and relatively popular server like mine.

Briefly, I think the server list's prioritizing logic should get a heavy rework, because it in it's current state makes no sense at all.

    Greetings.

    Hello.

    True, both:

    1) In my test I've been applying the two filters "region" and "Max Slots". With only 'Budapest' again you get 100 servers and yours is not in the "choosen ones" to be shown.

    2) I can't either understand what select criteria is applying to get the records from the weblist but it seems once it has 100 it doesn't read more and proceeds to show them.

    Well, I agree with you,
    It's not the same
    a) get 100 records and then sort them
    b) get all the records, sort them and then show 100.
    c) ask for the records by a sort criteria and get the first 100.

If now is applying a), with the volume of servers there are in the list, or 100 is a very small number or it's convenient modify the select criteria.

    Greetings.
